Nataki Gregory Appointed Chief Executive Officer
SAN FRANCISCO, CA – July 30, 2020 –
CT3 (www.ct3education.com), a leading teacher training and education leadership organization, announced today the immediate promotion of Nataki Gregory, Ed.D., as chief executive officer. The company, which serves schools and districts around the country, focuses on improving the quality and culture of education for youth, especially those in traditionally disenfranchised communities.
Gregory will be responsible for shaping CT3’s internal and external culture and driving toward the organization’s mission and vision. She will also define what CT3’s work looks like through an anti-racist lens and the ways the organization will strive to implement anti-racism efforts with its partners.
“Nataki is a tireless advocate for education and has dedicated her life to raising the level of teaching and learning in every school she’s been a part of,” says Kristyn Klei Borrero, CT3’s co-founder and author of Every Student Every Day. Klei Borrero will manage strategic partnerships and will continue her advocacy for anti-racism efforts in education through writing and speaking engagements.
About Nataki Gregory
Gregory, in her fifth year with CT3, began her education career as a teacher in District of Columbia Public Schools and then served in a variety of roles around the country, including principal, professional development director, and chief academic officer. She has worked with teachers and leaders in many school districts during her time with the organization.
“The CT3 team is second to none, both in terms of their experience as educators on the front lines and in their commitment to walk directly toward the most pressing challenges in education today,” says Gregory. “Those include dismantling racist systems and elevating the achievements and opportunities of the most marginalized students. Marcus and I consider it an honor to lead this team — and the teachers and students we serve — to new heights.”
Gregory’s history, both professional and personal, will further inform CT3’s anti-racism direction in a meaningful and mindful manner, notes Klei Borrero. “This approach underscores our commitment to contributing to the conversation from a first-person perspective while proactively addressing systematic beliefs that are long overdue for change,” she says.
